If you are looking for a fun, relaxing Venice Louisiana fishing vacation I recommend fishing 3 days or more if you are coming in from a long distance or out of state. You may as well stay a few days to get the fishing out of your system. The best time to come fishing is during the week days because there is less traffic at the marinas and less boats on the water and when it best fits your schedule!.

Lodging: $ 200 per night for 1-2 or 3 people. It is $50 extra for each additional person. You handle all your meals and drinks.
We do recommend our 3 days/ 4 nights package. The prices below DO NOT INCLUDE food. You handle all your meals and drinks.

Important Notes:
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE LIVE BAIT OR GRATUITIES.
If you want to use live bait, and if available, I can make arrangements to buy it at market price and it will be added on to your total.
Fish cleaning is included in the price. NOTE : your fish will be cleaned and bagged up in Ziploc bags then kept on ice.
If you would prefer to vacuum seal and freeze the fish right away, we have a vacuum sealer at your disposition that you can use to customize your bags of fish. Please, bring your own bags (NOT ROLLS our machine does NOT cut and seal) already made bags are easier (12 x 8 is a good size...). One of us will show you how to use the machine. We have a deep freezer to keep your catch. Our fish cleaner helper will bag and freeze your fish for a tip if you prefer and if he is available (he cleans fish for other captains too).
Legally, I can take out up to six people on a trip, but it's not practical. If there are more than 4 anglers wanting to go out, we really need to get another captain in on the trip. I know other licensed captains that you will be happy with (no jerks with broken equipment).

50% deposit is required at time of booking cash or check only, SORRY NO CREDIT CARDS so we don’t have to charge you a handling fee (it runs between 2.9% + $0.10 or 3.5% + $0.15).
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable if notice of cancellation is NOT given at least 30 days prior to the scheduled date of your charter.
We DO NOT ROLL OVER deposit towards the next year.
If Capt. Shawn has to cancel your trip due to bad weather (not very often), your deposit will be applied to a rescheduled date within the year.
